How do I convince the judges?

With the right ICE vibes and these useful tips, you will make the next-level pitch video to wow the judges in the preliminary round. Deliver the requested info in a recruiting way, in a language that even people not from your field of study understand. Capture their attention until the very last gasp.

The recommendations are written as if you were submitting a project on your own, but of course you may also submit a pitch with a team of students.

Duration

Your pitch will last a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 minutes. Less is more!

Content

Tell what the jury wants to know in a cool way. What you are sure to include is:

  • Who are you?
  • What education do you follow at Thomas More?
  • What is the context in which this project came about?
  • What does your project or prototype or realisation look like?
  • What makes your project unique?
  • How do you see the future of this project?
  • What would you do with the prize money?

Platform

You place your link -perhaps hidden- on YouTube. Need help? Something is not working? Contact Ann Hannes, she will be happy to help!

Submit

Send us the link to your pitch video via the entry form. The video will then appear on this site in the appropriate category.
